From our youngest U8s to our U15s — 12 teams are gearing up for what promises to be a fantastic season of football at Wessington Juniors. Boots are being cleaned, kits are being sorted, and the countdown to kick-off is well and truly on! ⏳

Whether it's your child's first ever season or they're a seasoned Wessington player, we can't wait to see every single one of them fall in love with the game all over again. 🧡

Huge congratulations to Ash Smith Warriors U10s coach.

Ash has been part of Wessington Juniors since the early days and bravely stepped up to take on our U7s back in 2023. Since then, he has consistently gone the extra mile for his players, his team and the wider club.

Those of us who know Ash and see the time and effort he puts in will know that this recognition is thoroughly deserved. 💙⚽

💙 We're Affiliated for the 2026/27 Season! ⚽

We're delighted to confirm that our FA affiliation for the 2026/27 season is now complete, and we're ready for another exciting year of football at Wessington Juniors!

Thanks to the incredible support from our local community, we've seen fantastic interest from new players this summer, allowing us to continue growing the club and introducing even more opportunities for young footballers.

As we expand, we're also looking to welcome new volunteer coaches to help support our existing teams.

Whether you're an experienced coach or simply passionate about helping young players develop, we'd love to hear from you.

Good luck to all of the Wessington Wolves U9’s as they head to one of the most iconic football venues in the world — Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United! ⚽🐺

What an incredible opportunity for these young players to experience such an amazing tournament, create lifelong memories, and enjoy every moment together as a team. These are the experiences that youth football is all about — friendships, excitement, team spirit and unforgettable moments both on and off the pitch.

For many of the players and families, this will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience and we can’t wait to see them represent the Wolves with pride.

🌟 Proud Moment for Our U7s 🌟

Fresh from playing in their very first tournament a couple of weeks ago at Westfields, our newest team, the Wessington Juniors U7s, were back in the spotlight last weekend after being proudly presented with the HJFL FairPlay Award following their participation in Futsal earlier this year. 👏⚽

This award recognises excellence in effort, performance and behaviour, with players, coaches and parents all assessed throughout the Futsal Festival between December and February.

To see our U7s recognised in this way is a hugely proud moment for everybody involved. At Wessington Juniors we are not only committed to developing great footballers, but also great people, so this award means a great deal to the club.

A massive congratulations to all of the players, parents and especially Coach Laura for creating such a positive environment for the team. 💙🤍

A massive thank you to Linton Electronics and Engineering for their fantastic support. The players were buzzing to get out in their brand new kit, and with the sun out, it made the occasion even better! 🙌⚽

It’s been a big week for the team, with their first ever 5v5 friendly midweek followed by their first tournament at Westfields this weekend. They were so proud to wear the new kit and really looked the part out on the pitch.

Seeing their smiles, confidence and excitement is what grassroots football is all about. Your support plays a huge part in creating these moments and memories for the players and their families. ✨💙
