- Marc Ehrler will be playing Round One of the Men's Two Bowl Singles on Wednesday 12th August at 11.45am.
- Rhys Palmer and Dan Silcox have their Round One match of the Men's Junior Pairs on Wednesday 12th August at 2.45pm.
- Dan Silcox plays in the Prelim Round of the Men's Junior Singles on Tuesday 18th August at 9.00am.
- Janette Graves, Pat Farmer, Mandie Complin and Sue Davies have their Round One match in the Ladies Fours on Wednesday 19th August at 9.00am.

We are very sad to inform you that Gwyneth Thomas passed away on Tuesday 28th July.
Gwyneth was a much loved member of the bowling club for many years. Gwyneth played at the National Finals in 2008 in the Triples with Pat and Rene and again in 2010 in the Fours with Pat, Margaret and Jan.

We send our love and condolences to Gwyneth's family. She will be greatly missed

On Saturday 25th July at Ross on Wye:
- Janette Graves, Pat Farmer, Mandie Complin & Sue Davies will be playing in the Ladies Fours final at 10am and again at 2pm in the Ladies Senior Fours final.
- Marc Ehrler will be playing in the Men's Two Wood Singles at 10am.

On Sunday 26th July at Kingsland:
- Rhys Palmer and Dan Silcox play each other in the Men's Junior Singles final at 10am. They then play together against Cain and Corey Delahay in the Men's Junior Pairs final at 2pm.

The Bill Bayley Competition
On the 18th of July Hereford Bowling Club hosted its annual competition the Bill Bayley cup.
The day was very successful with 32 members taking part.
Congratulations to Pat Farmer and Richard Branczik on taking home the trophy and £25 each after a brilliant team performance throughout the day. Commiserations to Trevor James and Bob Marshall for narrowly missing out in the final.
The competition was played in a brilliant spirit throughout the day, with plenty of close contests, great bowling and lots of laughs before an exciting final brought another successful competition to a close.
Once again thank you to Gordon for yet another smoothly ran competition.
