Yesterday, we held our Autumn Course at our Hombu Dojo.

We were fortunate to receive tuition from three senior instructors:

Andrew Thornton Sensei

Ian Tyler Sensei

Keith Murray Sensei

It was fantastic to welcome students who travelled from Durham, Hereford and Cleethorpes, as well as our local students, all coming together to take part in a full day of tuition.

It was an extremely informative and enjoyable course, and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended.

A big thank you to all our instructors and students for making the day such a success.

We look forward to seeing you all back on the tatami again soon!

Last weekend, we held our Summer Camp at our Hereford Dojo, led by Faye Clarke Sensei.

Shane Riley Shihan was joined by students from Durham, Pudsey and our Hombu Dojo for a weekend of focused training, shared experience and fellowship, alongside an enjoyable evening BBQ.

We were also pleased to welcome Simon and Michael Stokes from Hereford Aikido Group who joined us for the weekend’s training.

A particular highlight of the weekend was the promotion of Clarke Sensei’s student, Lana Harding, to 3rd Kyu by Riley Shihan. Congratulations to Lana on this excellent achievement.

It was a pleasure to see students from across the different dojos coming together to train and enjoy the weekend both on and off the tatami.

Our thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to making the Summer Camp such a successful and enjoyable event.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back on the tatami for our next course

At last night’s class, Abbie Scholefield successfully passed her 4th Kyu grading.

A fantastic achievement and a well-deserved recognition of her hard work and dedication to her training.

Well done, Abbie, and congratulations

We're back!

We're delighted to say that our Aikido class here in Herefordshire has began official, regular, indoor training again. We're a very small and friendly group on the lookout for brand new members to help kickstart us off again.

Our instructor is Sensei Faye Clarke, 3rd Dan. If you'd like to join, or at least give it a go to see if it's for you, please don't be afraid to get in touch. We train in Orcop village hall, Tuesday nights, 7:00pm to 8:30pm.
