We are super excited for our new project to start this month!😍🫶

🌟 Helping children and young people thrive across Herefordshire 🌟

Since its launch, the Tabor Charitable Trust Fund has awarded 14 grants, helping children and young people access opportunities that can make a real difference to their lives.

From sport, music and art to culture and learning, the fund helps young people aged 0–25 unlock their potential and access opportunities they might otherwise miss out on.

💚 Who does the fund support?

Priority is given to those facing barriers to participation, including young people from low-income families, rural communities and those living with a disability.

🤝 Funding is available to organisations, with a preference for small grassroots organisations and community groups, as well as individuals in need.

💃 Creating opportunities through dance

An award from Tabor Charitable Trust Fund is giving young people aged 11–15 the chance to explore dance teaching and working with children, while building confidence, developing communication skills and strengthening their leadership abilities. We are approaching World Mental Health Day this October 10th and with the support from the Herefordshire Community Foundation we have been boosting children’s self esteem, confidence and mood across Herefordshire through the power of music and dance❤️

We have loved performing and working on our film with Rural Media on the Growing Local CIC farm this year🥰

🍅🍏🥕🌽 Saturday 26th September, 10am onwards: BIG EAT with our friends at Growing Local CIC and Rural Media

🧑‍🍳Help with chopping and cooking from 10am.
🍲Food served around 12.30pm

🎥Rural Media will be with us to celebrate their 'OUR PLACE - South Wye' film featuring the dancers from Melody Dance Company CIC

👩‍⚕Members of the NHS Social Prescribing Team will be on site too

😎🌞 We had the best time last week at our Social Summer Camp in Leominster🌞😎

Thank you to the Earl Mortimer College for hosting us and the continued support from the Leominster Town Council allowing us to provide a week of activities completely free for the children and families in Leominster🙏

Lots of dance, fun, getting active and socialising with other children by playing as many games as we could!🤪
