ANNOUNCEMENT - MIDLAND AREA REGIONAL SCHOOLS & OPEN

First of all, we would like to say how we all shared the disappointment and frustrations of judoka, parents and coaches that our event was unable to take place last weekend.

We are now able to provide the following information:

🔹ALL ENTRY FEES WILL BE REFUNDED. While we are very grateful to the offers we have had declining a refund to help with our costs, we have decided that we will refund all entry fees that have been paid and you should expect to receive this in 7-10 days.

🔹The Senior Midland Area Open (ranking tournament) will be rescheduled to take place on Sunday July 5th. We are looking to link this with additional categories and further details will be released in due course.

🔹There will be no rescheduling of the Regional Schools event. We have been offered two possible dates by the centre, one on a Sunday afternoon, the other which clashes with the Liverpool Open, but logistics and availability of officials make these unfeasible.

🔹All queries regarding eligibility for the British Schools Championships should be directed to the British Judo events team.

Once again, thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you at our next event in July, or at the Heart of England on 12th September.
