Dad I've Got A Tangle

A bit of after school angling for the boy today while I helped coach a group of scouts! He managed quite a few silvers but needs to learn how to do a self take now he’s got the fishing bit sorted 🤣

Well that’s all the fishing done for this mini holiday! Loads more caught today, we’ve had a lush time together but today was the day Marshall officially moved out, fished his own swim and only needed to call me to take the photos, they grow up so fast 😢🤣

We’ll be back at Trippenkennett Farm in the summer holidays, love this place ❤️🎣

We’re on our half term mini fishing holiday and day 1 was awesome! Bacon sandwiches, lots of fish and a few father and son double takes for good measure ❤️🎣

Not loads of fish for us today but Marshall pulling out the quality ones on the cage feeder. A PB Bream and a PB Tench! 🎣🎣

We did something we don’t do very often last weekend and headed to a commercial for a day trying for a few Carp.

We headed to Dyffryn Springs Fishery fishing small PVA mesh bags and Sticky Baits Manilla hook baits and had an awesome day!

Well, 2025 didn't exactly go as we'd planned! Work got a little crazy combined with car problems meant we couldn't get out as much as we wanted!

It's 2026 now, we have the fishing van on the road and we're back out a bit more often, we just enjoyed our fishing for the end of last year, no videos, hardly any photos just us two, fishing together 🎣♥️

Sorting the camera gear out tomorrow as Marshall wants to get back to making the videos but today was just a few hours with the light gear on a small stream catching a few little Chub.
