Whilst always campaigning for the truth to be spoken about the River Wye, in the face of so much sensationalism and lawyer lead propaganda, I regularly talk about the real threats.
Things that will (and do) affect our river. In the face of such a challenging climate, there are practices going on under the guise of agriculture, that are simply unacceptable.
How in such desperately dry conditions, can we allow irrigation pumps to feed Lawn turf!
It’s not illegal, everyone is working within the law, but surely it cannot be right?
This sort of operation is hiding in plain sight, under the guise of Herefordshire farming.
This is not farming. This is not agriculture. This is horticulture and it’s adding to the pressure on our river, in an uncertain climate!
