GSXR600 K6. After vapour blasting the crankcases some damage was found on cylinder number 1 ☹. This is very tricky to repair with it being a ceramic coating type boar. After speaking with two companies that specialize in repairing this type of cylinder neither were prepared to take it on as the tooling they need to do it makes the job not worth it.

Thankfully was able to make and install liners. Awesome, that means this engine, this bike, and this project are saved.!!

The next project has begun. Gsxr 600 race bike restoration. Got the engine cases all v***r blasted up nicely but unfortunately this reveled some damage to one of the cylinders. So some specialised work will need to be done. Oh well one step forward one step back.
