The Club was formed in1947 playing in the Albert Park Victorian skating rink. you decide which). The rink flourished in the fifties and sixties.

Training is held at Middlesbrough Sports Village every Wednesday and Friday 6-7pm for new starters (total beginners welcome) followed by other age groups until 10pm The rink was ideal, nice and cool in the summer months with plenty of fresh air, in the winter it was a different tale with cold winds, rain, sleet and snow, some sessions you would turn up for to find a covering of frost or ice on the

Coach Pete Atherton has selected his U20s squad for the Inter-Regional Championships this June.

After impressing during a recent training session, the following players have been chosen to represent the North and compete for the Inter-Regional Cup against strong opposition from the East and South East.

We congratulate all of the selected players and wish them every success in the matches ahead.

World Skate Europe European Championships 2026 | Braga, Portugal | 20โ€“25 July 2026

England Roller Hockey is delighted to announce the England Under 17 Female Final Squad selected to compete at the World Skate Europe European Championships in Braga from 20โ€“25 July 2026.

Following months of training, assessment camps, and a highly competitive selection process, Head Coach Amelia Thomas has confirmed the players who will represent England this summer. The standard throughout the pathway has been outstanding, with every player showing tremendous commitment, attitude, and determination throughout the programme.

England Roller Hockey would like to thank and congratulate all players involved in the selection process. The effort, professionalism, and passion shown by every athlete made the final decisions incredibly challenging for the coaching staff.

On Sunday, we hosted the last day of the female Premier League, and ended the day with one win and one loss. Everyone really stepped up, played their best and showed some fantastic roller hockey skills. ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ Well done to King's Lynn Rink Hockey Club on becoming the FPL Champions ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ with a spectacular,
exciting and tense last match of the season decider against ECU. Another cracking season for the Female Premier League. Roll on the next one. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝโค๏ธ

In between the last two matches of the female Premier League, we had a girls under 15/17 friendly. Final score Reds 3 - 2 Whites. ERH Membership Fees and Competition Updates โ€“ Season 2026/27

Following the Semi-Annual General Meeting held on Monday 20 April 2026, and subsequent consultation with members around the regions alongside a review of projected revenue for the forthcoming seasons, the National Executive Committee (NEC) can confirm the membership fees for the 2026/27 season as follows:

โ€ข Full Member Subscription (all ages): ยฃ60
โ€ข Training Only Membership: ยฃ40
โ€ข First Year Registration (new participants to Roller Hockey): ยฃ40
These fees are now live within the registration system and take immediate effect. Please note that any registrations completed on or after 1 May 2026 will cover membership through to the conclusion of the 2026/27 season. This applies to all applicable membership categories, including First Year Player registrations and Training Only memberships.
In addition, the NEC is pleased to confirm that there will be no spectator admission fees for National Cup, National League and Inter-Regional Championship fixtures during the 2026/27 season. Clubs will retain discretion to charge admission for Premier League and Female Premier League matches.

The NEC looks forward to welcoming members to the upcoming National Cup Finals Day at the Herne Bay Arena on Saturday 30 May 2026.
