A nice 6-2 win for our Men’s Dover & District team on Wednesday evening against St Margaret’s B. Nick & Phil won all four of the sets they played, while Charlie & James were made to work a bit harder, splitting sets against both pairs. Another solid victory this summer with their last match next week against Bridge 🎾

Smiles all round for Herne Bay Men’s 3 who played brilliantly at home to beat Kemsing Men’s 5. The team notched their second win of the summer season, with a 3-1 victory! A big well done to James LP, Peter, Ian & James C 👏🏼🎾

Kent League Results Round-Up 🎾👇🏼

Men’s 3 won away at Twist Fizz against their first team. A comprehensive 4-0 victory for the team moves them up the standings in Division 10. Well done to Charlie, James C, James LP and Wayne 👏🏼

Ladies 1 beat Bromley LTC Ladies 2 away. A close 2-2 draw, but winning by a set. After four matches played this summer, they sit in third position in Division 2. A good result from Anne, Louise, Sophy & Debbie 🤩

Men’s 1 secured a 4-0 victory at home against Beckenham Men’s 4. Our new member, Andrew, played for the first time in the team, winning both of his matches in straight sets with Matt, alongside Aidan & Dan. A solid win which leaves the team in third position in Division 6 🎾

National League Men’s 1 won their first match of the season against Wye Men’s 1. An important 5-1 victory, winning 3 singles and 2 doubles matches sees them fight to stay up in Division 4. Well done to Paul, Matt, Alex & Dan 💪🏼

Mixed 3 had a tough trip to Tunbridge Wells losing 4-0. A first time father-daughter pairing of Mark & Alice won a set but ultimately lost out to a strong side. A good effort from Nick, Aga, Mark & Alice 😊

Herne Bay Mixed 3 ended their summer season on a high, winning a close match against King’s Hill Mixed 2. They drew 2-2 in rubbers, but managed to win by a set thanks to Nick & Aga winning a crucial set against the second pair. Liz & Phil played brilliantly to win both of their matches in straight sets 👏🏼🎾

Midsummer Longest Day Tournament

Friday 26th June 2026 - 6pm start

Join us for our annual longest day tennis tournament, along with pickleball, food and refreshments!

A fun, low-stakes tennis format suitable for all players looking to play. Pairing will be chosen randomly on the day and the rules will be explained before playing (brief overview on the poster below).

Sign-up sheet will be in the clubhouse from today if you would like to play in the tournament.
