Introducing the programme for Ballet Night 012...

BREATH
Choreographed by Liam Woodvine
Performed by Liam Woodvine & Taylor Hughes

Recently making their Scottish Debut together, they return to the Ballet Nights stage in London on the 28th of September.

"BREATH’ is a duet exploring human connection, conflict, and the fragility of interdependence. Set in a post war environment, Taylor Hughes and I share a tube linking our gas masks. The masks and tube act as both a giver of life, and a chain binding us together. I have always been fascinated by surrealism. How it can balance absurdity with reality to create powerful emotional reactions. I was inspired to find this balance and physicalize the relationship."
