One of the privileges of playing at Heswall is sharing the landscape with the wildlife that calls it home.
From the fairways to the estuary beyond, the course offers a constantly changing backdrop shaped by the seasons and the many species that thrive here.
It's all part of what makes golf at Heswall so distinctive.
The 8th is a hole that encourages careful thought from the very first shot.
The fairway bends gently to the right, with bunkers waiting on the left and a long, subtle green demanding a precise approach. Add the pond that protects the front of the green, and it becomes a hole that rewards commitment as much as control.

Greens were verti-cut, top dressed and dragged in, while fairways and surrounds were brushed and cut throughout the course. Overseeding also took place as part of ongoing course maintenance.
