Never played padel before? Come along and learn the basics in a fun, relaxed session — no previous experience needed!

Bats are available for hire.

Floodlighting comes on automatically when needed, at no additional cost.

Fancy trying tennis or used to play and want to get back into it?

Tuesday 15th September 6-7pm Rusty rackets coaching starts for a 6 week block at Hexham tennis club (next to the cricket club).

For adults who haven't played before, haven't picked up a racket in years or who just want to brush up on a few skills!

Come down, meet other players and push on to organise play and join social tennis when you feel ready...

We would encourage you to attend the 6 week block if you can. Don’t worry if you can't make 1 or 2, if you can let Tom know (07817061898).

We have our annual Open Ladies Tournament open to all under 3 rating starting in September, running to December.

£15 per person, enter as a pair and winners each receive £150 online sports voucher and trophy and runners up trophy and balls.

Ignore the fact it is says the tournament in on for one hour as Playtomic have changed settings so if I put the 3 months in it blocks the court out for the whole time!

Only 24 pairs so get booking! Entry by 31st August.

Thanks to the women who played in the Hexham women’s intermediate random partner mini padel tournament today.

After 5 hours of play, the winners were Kate Seddon and Louise Freeman who beat Caroline Armstrong and Jill Lloyd in the final.

Caroline was also presented with a lovely card, w**e and flowers for all her padel organisation which was much appreciated. Thanks to all who took part.

🟢 Intro to Padel
Perfect if you’re completely new to the sport. He’ll cover the rules, scoring, basic shots and tactics in a relaxed, friendly environment. £5 a session

Master positioning, volleys and decision-making to control points from the front of the court.

🎯 Master the Bandeja
Develop one of padel’s most important attacking shots to keep control of the point and maintain net position.
