During and after spawning, carp are at their most vulnerable. Fish often pick up damaged scales, split fins, abrasions, and open wounds through their spawning activity and contact with w**d beds, snags, and other fish. Using a Carp Care Kit allows anglers to immediately treat any visible injuries, helping to disinfect wounds, reduce the risk of infection, and promote faster healing before the fish is returned to the water.
The welfare of our fish is our highest priority. For this reason, every angler must carry a Carp Care Kit and use it whenever treatment is required. Failure to have a Carp Care Kit available while fishing may result in you being asked to leave the fishery, as we will not compromise on fish care and welfare standards.
