True story

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone for the messages, support and offers of help today. It really does mean a lot to us all. ❤️

The important thing is that Adam is OK, although understandably a bit battered, bruised and uncomfortable right now.

We all know the risks that come with motorsport, but that doesn’t make it any easier when something goes wrong, especially when it’s one of your own.

Adam lost control on one of the faster sections of Brands Hatch and unfortunately hit the barriers at considerable speed. It was a big impact, and while he’s feeling pretty sore right now, we’re incredibly grateful that it wasn’t much worse.

The car, unfortunately, hasn’t fared quite so well. But at the end of the day, it’s only metal and metal can be repaired or replaced. Adam can’t. All the safety equipment did exactly what it was designed to do, and that’s what really matters.

It’s certainly not the end to the season, or our time in the Civic Cup, that any of us had hoped for. But that’s motorsport. It brings some incredible highs and, occasionally, some pretty difficult lows.

Finally, a huge congratulations to Dave Marshall on becoming the 2026 Civic Cup Champion! A fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved. Congratulations also to all of today’s race winners.

As the sun sets on a busy Saturday at Brands Hatch, we’re looking forward to our final race with the Civic Cup tomorrow.

A bittersweet day ahead as we take the Civic out for one last race - let’s make it a good one!

Apparently our season has now been independently verified as cursed. 😂🐈‍⬛

We’d like to confirm that no black cats were harmed in the making of this Civic Cup campaign. Several engines, a gearbox and our bank balance weren’t so lucky. 💸

One last weekend at Brands Hatch. Anyone got a rabbit’s foot? 🏁🤞
