Thanks to Jett Westwood for running yesterdays advanced training course. It's important as martial artists to always challenge yourself and broaden your horizons where possible. Today was the brown belt, white stripe tag course. Students that reach this far in the Genesis grading process are amongst the top 1 percent of students that make it this far. At Genesis all belts are earned through dedication and training and if you don’t meet the grade we simply cannot promote you. It’s been a long journey for these 3, but today they were awarded their 3rd white tags on their belts. This symbolises that they have reached the standard where they are eligible to grade for the brown belt white stripe. With gradings coming up on the 2nd April, if you see them around please congratulate them and wish them luck. And if you are training alongside them see what they are doing to get to their level. Then see if you can emulate what they do as they are all excellent students. Well done Gentleman. Get preheated for the grading and keep up the good work.

Tasks are:

30 Press ups
30 Sit ups
Make your bed
A Household chore
Eat your veg
Half Term Heroes must perform all of the above tasks EVERYDAY over the half term break to receive their certificate.
Parents please fill out the sign off form sent to you via email and show it to your child's instructor after the HTH challenge is COMPLETE.

It was good to see that we have a keen bunch of new students, dragons and white belts coming through the ranks at todays Beginners Course. Well done to everyone that attended. Well done to all 3 Genesis Martial Arts students that fought in last nights Off The Hook Fight Show. We got 2 out of 3 wins. And although we didn’t get the decision for one the experience was invaluable and we will learn from it.

Such a busy morning today with Genesis Martial Arts HQ we has nearly 40 students attend the beginners course. While the brown belts worked hard on the tag course and the black belts got up to speed with the second dan syllabus.
