High Wycombe Bowling Club

On Tuesday 16th June Wycombe Wanders Ex Players Association enjoyed their Annual Bowls day out at
Our club in Chestnut Ave, 24 players showed their us their skills and after 18 ends of competitive bowling an evening supper
Was enjoyed before the presentation of the Barry Simmonds Trophy was presented to The winning pair Tim Anning and Paul
Mcstay. Paul also was the winner of the spider competition.

Our first in-house competition of this season
Was won by team, Stuart, Merle and Rex,
the only team to win all three of games.

Pre season girls get together, afternoon tea at Hilliers garden centre, Marlow. Happy days !!

The outdoor Bowling season is just round the corner, come and join us on our first open day , Friday April 24th from 2pm - 6pm, or our second open day on Tuesday 19th May 2 pm- 6pm.
We offer free advice and help in getting started in this most addictive sport,
Reduced membership charges on your first year, social events and the club supports a well stocked bar, there is free parking.
Come on down and give it a try !!

Our annual pilgrimage to Warners at Bembridge I.O.W saw our club enter 5 teams in the bowling festival.
3 teams made it to the play offs,( it should have been 4 teams but just missed out on shots difference. ) however our team of Barry, Chris, Peter and Robin made it to the final, but we're beaten by a very high quality team from London Civil Service Bowls Club.
All players and non players enjoyed the days away and are looking forward to next year's gathering.
