Here are our gym opening times for May Bank Holiday ( 25 May ) - we are open 0800-2000!

As the end of the academic year arrives, the Gateway Gym Team sends their best wishes to students heading home for the summer vacation. We also wish our final year students every success for the future.

For our students who live locally and for those who will be staying in High Wycombe for some or all the vacation period we wanted to let you know about our summer membership options.

Along with our fantastic 1-month membership for £15.00 we also offer a 2-, 3- and an All-Summer option for £28.00, £39.00 and £POA respectively. These memberships contain built in discounts reflecting the possibility that students may spend some time on holiday over the summer.

The options will be available as follows: -
2-month option – equivalent to £14 per month.
3-month option – equivalent to £13 per month.
All-Summer option – equivalent to £12 per month.

Remember, whilst it may be the vacation period, it is business as usual at the Gateway Gym so come and make the most of us as soon as you can to benefit from the best value for money possible.

FREE 60 - Soulful Spin, Boot and Step

On 26 April we invite you, as well as your family, friends, and colleagues to our FREE 60 session. Join us for an hour of Soulful Spin, Boot and Step from 7pm. We have 21 spaces up for grabs and the session is already available for booking online using the booking portal (let us know if you do not know your online booking credentials).

Non-members (must be at least 16 years of age) should contact the gym by phone or in person. What could go wrong with a mash-up of group cycling, bootcamp and step aerobics? Well come along and you might just find out 😊

A heartfelt thank you to everyone donated to our Prostate Cancer Awareness Bake sale! Together, we successfully raised an impressive £226 for Prostate Cancer UK, which will significantly contribute to their vital work in research, support, and raising awareness about this important issue.

Opening hours and group exercise classes!

The updated price of our Academic Year membership for the month of April is £25. Membership fee works out £8.33 per month, £2 a week and 27p per day. This is amazing value for money, you don’t want to miss out!

Join us at Gateway Gym on Monday, March 30th, for a special event supporting Prostate Awareness Month. Come by to enjoy and buy a variety of delicious sweet treats, with all proceeds going toward raising awareness and funding for Prostate Cancer UK. Your support makes a difference!

The updated price of our Academic Year membership for the month of February is £40. Membership fee decreases month by month as less of the academic year remains, so keep up to date with our Instagram to make sure you don’t miss this information.

Next week, our BA (Hons) Musical Theatre students take to the stage with their full-scale production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and we would love you to join us to celebrate and support their work.

The performances will take place at The Elgiva Theatre on Thursday 26th and Friday 27th February at 7.30pm.

Over the past six weeks, the company has been working intensively to bring this production to life. The process has demanded commitment, collaboration and creativity, culminating in a vibrant, character-led musical that showcases their development as performers.

With choreography and production led by myself as Course Leader, musical direction by AJ Gibson, and direction by Steven Harris, the show places a strong emphasis on storytelling, comedy and ensemble work. It is a real celebration of the students’ talent, resilience and hard work.

It would mean a great deal to the company to have colleagues in the audience. Please do come along to celebrate their achievements and support the next generation of performers.
