The GKCC Six-a-Side Tournament. Six highly motivated teams ruthlessly committed to winning. The cast of Super Mario were strong, men in dresses were enthusiastic, fashionable and scarily attractive. Nice summer shirts and great performance from Ballinger. Super effort from the boys and good publicity for a hard to find pub in Downley (though well worth the effort). Two teams of ex convicts controversially benefitted from early release. The ones from Australia crashed and burned. The escapees from the state penitentiaries in Chenies (and Latimer) prevailled and are our first champions - well done! Great fun played in fabulous spirit. Here`s to the next one. Two great games of cricket over the weekend with our 1st XI getting back to winning ways against promotion rivals Chalfont St. Giles. The 2nd XI put up a great fight against a strong Denham side but fell short in the chase.
