DAILY HEALTHY LIVING CHECKLIST
1) Did you drink at least 2 litres of water?
2) Did you do at least 20-30 mins of moderately intense activity?
3) Did you move your body through different ranges of motion with different types of movement?
4) Was the food you ate today healthy and within a reasonable calorie limit? If not, why not?
5) Did you do a stress relieving activity? E.g. meditation, relax to music, hug a loved one.
6) Sleep enough? On average 7 hours is a good amount to aim for. However some people may need more.
7) Did you get enough direct sunlight and fresh air? (20-30mins)
SET YOURSELF A CHALLENGE!
Try and successfully tick off each of these every day for a week and see how you feel afterwards.
You might be surprised at just how much better you feel!

A SIMPLE TASK TO FEELING MORE PURPOSEFUL AND BEING MORE PRODUCTIVE:
"To survive you have to be active! To truly live you have to be proactive for yourself and for others in a positive way".
As a discipline try making a point of doing 3 positive things for yourself and 3 positive things for other people on a daily basis and watch yourself feeling more purposeful and being more productive. Just 3 simple things to benefit your life each day and 3 things to benefit others. What you choose to do is your choice and down to your temperament, taste, skill and what you want to achieve or help others achieve.
Give it a try for a month and watch the result. You may just start feeling better about yourself and achieving more :)
13 MINUTE WORKOUT: perform 2 times up to 5 times a day
workout consists of a 3 min warm up, 7 min exercise, 3 minutes stretching
Warm up: 1 minute jumping jacks, 1 minute jumping knees, 1 minute twisting jumps
Workout: 6 exercises (50 secs on, 10 secs rest to change to next exercise)
1) alternate lunges
2) dorsal raises
3) mountain climber press ups (4 mountain climbers, 1 press up)
4) squats
5) plank
6) burpees
7) side plank (25 seconds each side)
3 minutes of stretching. do all muscles used (hold each stretch 10-15 seconds)
perform this short routine 2 to 5 times a day when you can.
this is the little but often approach to exercise, the perfect method for busy individuals who struggle to find large amounts of time to workout.
