Best Start in Life recently shared the link to the government guidance on screen time for under 5s. The main message is to limit screen time wherever possible.
- For children under 2, avoid screens except for shared moments like family video calls.
- For ages 2–5, try to keep screen time to 1 hour a day or less.

Starting Reception this September? 🎒Is your child ready for the adventure?
Helping your child learn to use the toilet independently before starting school can make a big difference.
It helps them feel confident, capable, and part of the group. They won’t need to rely on adults for personal care, so they can focus on what really matters - learning, playing, and making friends
