Chris Lee writes his keynotes 24 hours before he gives them, and he crushes it on stage every single time.

His take is that ADHD founders are sprinters, so you sprint Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and rest on Tuesday, Thursday and the weekend.

If you try to sprint every day, you end up working 9am to 10pm and burning yourself out.

This is from my full episode with Chris, "ADHD Hyperfocus Can Be Switched On", where he explains exactly how to do it.

Comment "CHRIS" and I'll send it to you.

10 o'clock at night, highlighting a business book to the nth degree, and I thought I was working.

I call it procrasti-learning, and it went unnoticed for years because it looked like work and felt like work.

The full video is called "3 Things I Wish I Knew Earlier As An ADHD Founder".

Comment "3" and I'll send it to you.

A lot of ADHD founders find themselves masking.

That's when you show people a version of yourself you've built for them, because being your real self feels too risky.

Chris explains why it's so exhausting: every time you mask, you suppress the dopamine that builds your motivation, so you end up swimming laps with your hands tied behind your back.

For years I tried to out-discipline my own brain.

Another app, another morning routine, another productivity system that lasted about five days before I stopped doing it.

Every one of those was me adding something to a brain that was already full to the brim.

The thing that actually worked was removing things.

Focus is subtraction.

And once you realise that, your job is then to find the one thing holding your business back and get everything else off the list for now.

This is a snippet from a private mastermind that I ran for my clients recently.

Comment MOMENTUM and I'll send you the whole thing.

I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, so I ended up in a job I hated. Quitting to qualify as a PT was the first decision I made to take charge of my own life.

I had no gym and no clients, so I needed experience more than anything. James was my mate and my first ever client, in a local park, with kit I’d bought from Lidl.

You can’t build anything impressive training people in a park, so I moved into a local gym and built a name for myself in the area. When things turned sour with
the owner I decided I’d rather back myself, and this was the first kit I bought for my own place.

The studio filled up fast, 50+ people a week, and it was the first time I’d had any real control over my own life. My head never stopped though. I spent my weekends trying to escape the busyness of my own mind. My health took a battering in this season.

Running a studio with 50+ people a week, and I did what everyone does for their 21st birthday and bought a dog off my neighbour. No thought went into it at all. You’ll spot that pattern more than once in here.

A month into lockdown it was clear it wasn’t reopening. 20,000 hours building that place and it was gone overnight, with no idea what came next.

I gave myself a month of feeling sorry for myself and then put £10,000 I didn’t really have into a mentor. The online world was tiny back then and everyone told me not to do it. I did it anyway.

Things started to work. And once the work could happen from anywhere, I left my hometown, moved down south and started travelling a lot more.

I had the freedom I’d been chasing my whole life and the business stopped moving. It was
fine, made a bit of money but nowhere near what it should have been. It stayed that way for
years. Everything felt heavier for me than it looked for everybody else and I couldn’t work out why.

The first time in my life my head had ever been quiet. It became my version of meditation and I was obsessed straight away. It was also the moment I realised how loud my mind was the rest of the time.

£150k on mentors and courses across those years. I had a library of knowledge and couldn’t apply any of it consistently. So I came to the only conclusion I had left, whi

Being busy is the easiest thing in the world to hide behind.

Nobody questions a founder who's working every hour.

So the actual problem sits there for years as you scratch your head.

Comment or DM me 'Hunter OS' and I'll send you the details to solve this problem for good.
