Don't think because you're not doing several fancy workouts across a month that they are not working hard.
When it comes to strength training you should be doing the same core movements over and over again in your workout plan or sessions, so you can progress with them and get stronger gradually over time
It might feel boring doing the same few workouts over and over again, but this is when you will see results.
Don't get me wrong switching them up and adding in some great hiit workouts now and again won't hurt either.
