🥋Colour belt students from Burbage TKD & Rugby TKD looking very smart ready for their grading examinations. The gradings were scheduled over two days, showing commitment & indomitable spirit -especially challenging in the hot weather conditions.

Today, we honor the memory of General Choi Hong Hi (9 November 1918 – 15 June 2002), the Founder of Taekwon-Do.

With gratitude and respect, we remember the man who gave the world this martial art and whose legacy continues to inspire generations of practitioners worldwide.

As one Taekwon-Do family, we proudly carry his vision forward.

The morning session saw our Red Belts and Black Stripes in action, demonstrating great effort and commitment as they prepare for the upcoming Black Belt Gradings.
In the afternoon session, our 1st Degree Black Belts and above stepped up to perform their Patterns, Breaking, and Technical Knowledge. The standard on display was excellent, and it was fantastic to see such dedication and skill throughout the day.

Congratulations to all students who took part in the BTC Championships 2026. It was fantastic to see the leading Taekwondo organisations from across the UK coming together to compete under one roof. The event showcased excellent camaraderie, determination, and competitive sportsmanship throughout the day, creating an exciting and memorable atmosphere for competitors, coaches, officials, and spectators alike.
