Home to some of the most stunning carp in the Midlands to 29lb+, Pike to 20lb+, Bream to 10lb+ and some incredible Perch and Roach.

Good morning everybody!

Good luck to all those out today especially those who have taken up our winter ticket, please share any catches you have either on messenger or on the what's app group.

FOR THOSE WHO HAVE MISSED IT

We are raffling a FULL 2027/2028 season membership which is worth in excess of £300. This is 24/7, 365 days a year fishing. The season runs April 1st 2027 until March 31st 2028.

Tickets are £1 each, 10 for £5, or 20 for £10!

The raffle ends 23/12/2026 and it will be drawn 24/12/2026 just in time for Christmas so can also double up as a gift for that special.someone!

Profits of this raffle get reinvested into the club to help us keep moving forwards and improving the facility.

🎣 What is Hinckley Angling Club?

Hinckley Angling Club is an established, non-profit community fishing club based in Hinckley, Leicestershire. Run entirely by a committee of local volunteers, the club has been operating for over 80 years and exclusively manages The Little Pit Fishery on Barwell Lane

Key Features of the Fishery

The Lake: A mature, suburban former clay pit bordered by willow trees, reeds, and lily pads. It features a highly varied topography with clay, silt, and gravel spots.

Depths: The water reaches depths of up to 20 feet (6 metres) in the deeper sections before rising to around 13 feet toward the bay.

Fish Stock: The pool is highly regarded in the Midlands for its mature fish stocks, which include:
Carp up to 29lb+
Pike up to 20lb+
Bream up to 10lb+
Perch and Roach

Facilities & Setup: The site offers around 14 pegs, including cozy single spots and double pegs designed to accommodate overnight angling, an onsite toilet but also situated over the road from Asda in Hinckley it provides a good source for those forgotten items.

Security: To provide a peaceful environment and prevent anglers from being disturbed, the fishery features its own dedicated car park and is kept secure 24 hours a day.

We are currently only offering winter tickets which run from the 1st of October until the 31st of March 2027 they can be applied for following the link below.
