Just a few photos of our many dancers who competed this weekend in our first competition of the season. Seeing all age groups shine on stage, win many medals and have the best time together is always amazing … bring on more of the same for the next 2 weekends 👏🏼

OCTOBER GUEST TEACHER

We’re excited to welcome professional performer and choreographer Morgan Scott to Eloquent Dance Academy this October, covering some of our Commercial and Contemporary classes for students aged 9–18 yrs

Morgan trained at London Studio Centre and has an extensive professional career including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Rock of Ages, Singin’ in the Rain, Cats and Saturday Night Fever, alongside numerous TV and choreography credits.

Even more excitingly, Morgan will shortly be joining the cast of 13 Going on 30, starting at the end of October! “Congratulations Morgan”

A fantastic opportunity for our dancers to learn from a current industry professional and a special October treat for our Eloquent students!

✨ PROUD PANTO NEWS! ✨

Eloquent Dance Academy is incredibly proud each year of the students who successfully secure roles through highly competitive pantomime auditions and go on to represent their training at Eloquent on stages across the Midlands.

This year is no different! As another exciting audition season comes to an end, we are delighted to announce that Eloquent dancers will be performing in SEVEN pantomimes across the region!

Our talented dancers have secured roles in three professional productions in Coventry, Leamington Spa and Birmingham, as well as four wonderful community pantomimes in Hinckley, Nuneaton, Bedworth and Coventry.

We are also extremely proud that our Principal, Vicki Stevenson, will once again return to the prestigious Belgrade Theatre in Coventry as Assistant Director and Assistant Choreographer.

Having a Principal who continues to work professionally within the industry is a wonderful inspiration to our students, encouraging so many of them to follow their ambitions and experience the magic of performing on stage over the festive season.

Please support your local theatres—and our fabulous Eloquent dancers—by going to see a pantomime this Christmas.

Congratulations to: Millie Lowdon, Orlaith Hunt, Lilly Efford, Annie Goodwin, Belle Sidwell (Coventry Belgrade Theatre) Lena Scieplek, Matilda Bott (Old Rep Theatre, Birmingham) Chloe Hurst (Leamington Spa Centre) Dora Gibbs (Concordia Theatre, Hinckley) Matilda Sawyer, Scarlett Wileman, Sofia Puckey (Bedworth Civic Hall) Freya Simms (Albany Theatre, Coventry) Georgia Hall, Lina Nierderlein, Honey Hewitt, Wren Weaver & Josie Payne (Abbey Theatre, Nuneaton)

WISHING OUR KEAVY THE VERY BEST OF LUCK!

Today, Eloquent dancer Keavy Stevenson begins her full-time professional training at the prestigious ArtsEd in London.

At Eloquent, we are incredibly proud that our dancers who wish to pursue careers in the industry have a 100% success rate in gaining places at full-time dance and drama schools. Our students have been accepted into Laine, Urdang, Bird, Italia Conti, London Studio Centre, MADD, Stella Mann, MEPA, Performers, Dancebox, Jelli Studios, SLP, Shockout, Addict and now ArtsEd.

Today is especially meaningful for Eloquent’s principal and founder, Vicki Stevenson, because Keavy is not only her student of 14 years but also her youngest daughter. This is more than a college place too…. Keavy has been selected as the recipient of The ArtsEd Dance Scholarship, an incredible recognition of her talent and dedication.

Keavy was quite literally born into the Eloquent family and will always remain at its heart, just like her big sister Zayleigh, who completed her professional training at the incredible Shockout in commercial dance and is now a proud member of the Eloquent teaching faculty.

Today, this recognition comes from all Keavy’s teachers, fellow students and the entire Eloquent family but most importantly, from her incredibly proud mum.

Go and shine, Keavy. ArtsEd is so lucky to have you, and we couldn’t be prouder! 💗🖤
