Well this weekend did not go the way I was hoping. British champs. Went out in practise and felt good and quite fast.
Went out in first race and got a half decent start and coming round turn 3/4 and bike bogged and lost power. Took back into pits to find that the tapit nut had come off on the outlet valve 🙈 got it sorted and all in time for second race. A lot to do to make the final so went out in the second race and got a flying start and was running 4th when I came past the finish like on lap 2 and bang that was my day over blew the engine again for the third time in a very short time. Being so costly I think that will be me done for a few months until I can get it sorted.

Brilliant weekend had at frittenden for the Battle of Britain meeting
Had a tricky start to the day in silly temperatures with my carb playing up but vinning to the rescue again to sort me out and get out for late practise and first race. Not a great first race finishing 6th but the day got better with a 3rd and 4th which thankfully got me to the final.
Having a terrible start in the final and being dead last but working my back to 6th which overall after the day I’m happy with. Thank you to everyone that helped me out my step son Josh, dad Chris and nick.

Onto the next one now in two weeks the big one British championship final at GTSA

This weekend saw us racing at Cheshire which is a relatively local one for us only being an hour and half away.
Went out in practise and felt good.
Managed to get a second in the first race
Then slid off whilst in 2nd in the second race
Then managed 2x3rds and a fourth after totally missing the gate. Missed out on the podium by one point to my good mate Shane Knight which was happy to see him up there.

What a weekend of racing!!
Really enjoyed Sunday after not thinking I was going to be able to ride with pulling my back and not being able to stand straight on Saturday night. Thanks to my mother In law/ personal sports massage therapist for sorting me out.
But first race went out and took the win then had 3rd 4th and 4th which was controversial considering the person was outside the pegs when passing me on the line but nothing said 🤷🏼‍♂️.
Then had a nightmare before going out in the final when my belt had melted to the back plate so couldn’t start the bike.
On to the next one which is a trip to Cheshire on the 10th may all in prep for the British champs in June.
