Just a reminder that if you're exercising outside this week, then just don't. There is a very high risk of melting 🥵
Seriously though, whether inside or out, make sure you stay hydrated, keep out of the midday sun, wear sunblock and a cap 💪

Celebrate Pride Month in style by popping along to one of our regular monthly events! 🏳️🌈✨
Hinckley Pride Book Club - Thursday 11th June - 18+ 📚
We meet once a month to discuss the chosen book and talk about the different themes in the book. It's a lovely evening of lively conversations and indulging in our love of literature!
June's book is A Family Matter by Claire Lynch!
Sew Q***r Sew Crafty - Thursday 25th June - 14+ 🎨
This is our monthly craft evening where we get together to do crafts with chats and drinks! You can bring you own project or find something new to do on the evening from the materials we provide. It's a low-energy but lovely event where you can find new friends and share what you're working on or become inspired by others!
Coffee Morning - Saturday 27th June - All Ages ☕
On the last Saturday of every month, we also run a coffee morning for the community. We provide free tea, coffee, and refreshments and welcome everyone in for conversations and a much-needed pick me up! It's a wonderful way to meet new people and end each month!
We hope to see you at one of these events this month. Do come and say hello if you pop in - we're a friendly bunch, we promise! 🥰🏳️🌈

If someone has a seizure, you generally should not try to hold them down or put anything in their mouth. Despite the myth, people cannot “swallow their tongue.”
The safest first aid is usually to:
* Move dangerous objects away what could harm them
* Cushion their head
* Time the seizure
* Turn them onto their side or recovery position once seizure has ended
* It is natural for them to be tired or sleep following a seizure.
Call emergency services if the seizure lasts more than about 5 minutes, repeats without recovery, happens in water, or it’s the person’s first known seizure.
