🌟 Player Spotlight: Paul Wheatcroft 🌟

One of the longest-standing members of Hinckley Town Pickleball Club, Paul has been part of the journey from the early days - and what a player he continues to be 💪🎾

Having overcome injury and become something of a miracle of modern science, Paul’s energy, determination and competitive spirit are as strong as ever. Often spotted arriving at club sessions on his bicycle 🚴‍♂️, he brings the same relentless work ethic and enthusiasm onto the pickleball court every single week.

Tricky, energetic and always great fun to play with, Paul is a huge character within the club and a fantastic competitor. He has proudly represented HTPC in matches and continues to be a real credit to the club both on and off court 👏

And if he’s not playing pickleball? You’ll probably find him out on the rugby pitch too 🏉

We’re incredibly proud to have Paul as part of HTPC - thank you for everything you bring to the club. What a player 🙌

Stamford match report.

HTPC took 16 players to Stamford on Saturday for a rematch against Stamford Pickleball. The team had a lovely mix of experience and many playing their first competitive matches.

The match was as close as expected, with just a couple of points between both sides. Stamford just coming out on top and lifting the trophy. Amazing effort from our players, some highlights including Karen and Rachel playing their first ever matches, and Gail and Malc getting their first win together!

Super proud as ever of HTPC members getting out and about and enjoying their pickleball. Well done team!!

Outdoor sessions are:

Monday – 6pm & 7pm Adult Mixed Social
Wednesday – 7pm & 8pm Adult Mixed Social
Saturday – 9am Adult Coaching
