Two great events happening in Hitchin THIS SUNDAY, Kidical Mass, a big group bike ride for kids around town, ending at the wonderful Walsworth Festival where Dr. BIKE will be offering FREE bike repairs and MOTs for the day!

Meet Arthur,
Arthur, is from Brazil. He got in touch asking for my help to cycle from the UK to Paris, he needed a bike, a day later, unrelated, a kind customer got in touch offering me a bike.....a happy coincidence, Arthur now has a serbiced bike to cycle to Paris and I've passed on some of the many kindnesses I was shown when cycling in different countries.

CALLING ALL HITCHIN COMMUTERS - Dr. Bike is back at Hitchin Station this Thursday from 7am.
Drop off service for all those, poor, winter abused bikes.
Bring your bike on the way to work and have it in much better condition when you pick it up at the end of your day.

Ive never actually met this kid (about 10yo), but Ive serviced his bike multiple times (much more than is usual for a )
Everytime it looks as you would imagine, and, needs a fair amount of work, I'm always amazed and ask why/how.
His mother kindly shared this photo as evidence.
And I love it!
