☘️ Good Luck to all Riverain Indoor BC players who have qualified for the 2023 Bowls England National Championships ☘️

The teams have been announced ahead of the English Indoor Bowling Association Denny Trophy Final which is being held at Nottingham IBC tomorrow. This is a massive achievement for each and every player who has been involved and contributed in getting Riverain this far.
Riverain IBC is very proud of you.

CONGRATULATIONS 🥳 to Peter Ellis on winning the Men’s National Over 60’s Singles Area Final 21-12 vs Rod Smith of Lawns IBC. Pete’s first game at the National Finals in Nottingham is on 28 March at 3pm.

CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 to Shirley Hughes and Angie Fabris on beating Tye Green’s G. Mitchison in the Area Final of the National Ladies O60’s Pairs 23-11. Their first game at the National Finals in Nottingham will be on Wednesday 5th April at 9.30am

Heather’s first game at the National Finals in Nottingham will be on Thursday 23rd March at 5:00pm

CONGRATULATIONS 🎊 to Debbie Roe, Kim Dear, Megan Mackinnon and Heather Stapleford on beating Bounds Green’s A. Frankland in the Area Final of the National Ladies Fours 22-10.

Our Riverain juniors have once again been superb at the weekend (25th-26th Feb). Not only for their talented performances on the green but also for the excellent level of sportsmanship shown to their opponents and the support they give to each other. With every performance they are showing they are a force to be reckoned with on the green and fantastic ambassadors of our club.

Congratulations to Sam Andrews for reaching the semi final of the Daventry Open U18’s Singles. Sam Andrews, partnered with Matt Murphy also reached the final of the Daventry Open U25’s Pairs. Well done to you all, we are extremely proud of you.
