The West Midlands Shooting Ground has been established since 1934. The grounds are situated just 13 miles North of Telford in the heart of Shropshire. The ground itself has the appeal of the finest golf course; a maze of beautifully maintained paths lead you to the 80 plus stands, boasting over 200 clay pigeon traps of the finest sporting targets on offer in the UK today. The Scandinavian log cabin – the first (of its kind on a shooting ground in Britain) offers a wonderful ambience with an open fire and plentiful seating for up to 60 guests The shooting grounds are privately owned by Tom and Debra Jones who have been instrumental in their organisation with perfection to every detail on planning to ensure the success of your day’s entertainment. We understand in the right environment you can establish and consolidate relationships and the build the foundations for increased business in the futureThe West Midlands Shooting Ground is justly famous for its high standard of personnel tuition. Our instructors are well used to passing on their expertise to shooting parties, whether they be corporate or private shoots, or to an experienced shot or complete novice. Be assured that your customers safety is taken to the highest of priorities; our health and safety program along with risk assessment are closely monitored.

Exciting news for our Winter series!! 🏆

After great demand we have decided to run each shoot over two days to spread it out, We have also opened up a AAA class for prizes. Chris Hendrick from Hendrick Projects has sponsored a Huge £2,500 for High gun so it’s all to play for, This series will be the ultimate winter practice to prepare for the 2027 competition season.
Note: The December shoot isn’t the Christmas shoot, That’s on the 12th December.
