When was the last time you truly expressed what you were feeling?

Like really allowed yourself to feel and express it all?

Because depression is what happens when everything gets pushed down and suppressed. Unfelt, unspoken, unprocessed, unmoved, energy and emotions.

Shake the Dust offers a space to express and let your body lead through sensation, movement and awareness.

A space where all parts of you are welcome and where NOTHING has to be pushed down.

Just an opportunity to feel, to move, to reconnect with your aliveness and to practice freedom in motion šŸŒ€

No performance, no steps, no pressure, no judgment.

šŸ“… Friday 1st May | 6:30-7:30pm

It takes a pretty strong person to sit with themselves, to calm their own storms, and to heal themselves without bringing anyone else into that chaos.

Although you might technically be single; you are always in a relationship with yourself. So stay committed to giving yourself everything that you want and need - the love, the support, the care, the validation, the permission.šŸ¤

O V E R W H E L M

I feel like I have so much to do at the moment…

šŸ‘‰šŸ¼Find a location for a Leeds Coffee Morning

šŸ‘‰šŸ¼Finish planning and buy glow sticks for June’s Retreat. (Only 2 spots left btw if you fancy!)

šŸ‘‰šŸ¼Finish website.

šŸ‘‰šŸ¼Finalise the Soulfully Single Membership.

šŸ‘‰šŸ¼Pull together coaching tools, worksheets and record meditations for the online Self-Coaching Toolkit.

šŸ‘‰šŸ¼Prep for a new client session

šŸ˜…šŸ„µšŸ«

It’s all mega exciting! I love doing things that I know are going to massively help, impact and support others.

But sometimes I have to remind myself that I’m just one person, and being productive also means doing F all!

I had this discussion with a client just this week, about using time more productively, and that sometimes resting and taking a breather IS the most productive thing we can do for ourselves.
To pause.
To reset.
To restore.
To recalibrate.

We can spend so much of our time doing doing doing, adding to our ā€˜to do’ list and piling on the pressure.

But it’s important to also BE.

We’re human BEings, not human DOINGS.

Last week I started to feel the overwhelm and overload. So this week, I’ve been carving out guilt-free time to have a bath (an annual occurrence!), take daily walks, get into nature, to say no, do a bit of breathwork, and to STOP.

If you’re also overwhelm or anxious feelings this week, try some of these techniques to help slow down your nervous system:

šŸ¤What things can you say ā€œnoā€ to?

šŸ¤Write it all out to get it out of your head and onto paper. Your ā€˜to dos’, your worries, all of it.

šŸ¤Try a bit of simple breathwork to slow down your heart rate and thoughts (4:4:4:4 box breathing is a great one)

šŸ¤Ask for help! It’s okay to seek advice or support, or simply just ask a friend if they can just listen to you.

You got this 😌

I’m so grateful for my wonderful clients šŸ™šŸ¼ They never fail to inspire me. Regardless of their individual situations, they show up for themselves and push out of their comfort zone, all in the name of growth…

āœØšŸŽ‰I CELEBRATE YOU! šŸŽ‰āœØ

I want to shout-out Sonia, because she took herself on her first solo date last week and sent me a smiling selfie - it honestly made my day! I know how much courage this took, and it was an awesome step forward in rebuilding confidence. Keep on rising my love šŸ’ŖšŸ¼ā¤ļø

If you’re on the fence about working with me to support your healing and growth after the end of a relationship, here’s what you can expect:

90min sessions focused on moving you forward on your key coaching objectives.

Objectives might include healing (in a *healthy* way) from your last relationship, rebuilding your self worth and confidence, finding yourself again after losing your identity in a relationship, setting boundaries to protect your peace, or get clear on what your vision and values are for your next relationship AND your life!

I bring energy, empathy and realness. I authentically share my own experiences and the mistakes I’ve made and learnt from, to help you on your path.

I empower you. I do not see you as a victim to your circumstances. I see you as the creator of your reality and a powerful being who with the appropriate mindset and tools, can be and do absolutely ANYTHING you want. You don’t need rescuing or fixing, you have everything inside you already.

You will get focused homework (sorrynotsorry) that will further support your progress. You will also have my guidance, support and encouragement throughout.

In between sessions, I will share any resources/podcasts/articles that I see that I think will support you and will be there if you have a ā€˜wobble’ day.

I work with the majority of my clients over 3 or 6 months, because that’s where deep change happens through consistent work and focus.

But if that’s not for you right now, that’s okay! I also offer an intensive 90min deep-dive session where we go through your objectives and you will leave the session with practical and actionable tools and a fresh perspective that will get you out of the blocks and move you forward. You will come away feeling hopeful and excited for your next chapter✨

DM me for pricing.

One of the biggest things that has contributed to my healing, is understanding that we are all made up of different ā€˜parts’.

All these parts live within us. And true self-love begins with acknowledging and accepting all of your parts - the parts that make up your full, entire, imperfect yet uniquely magical self.

I learnt that I’m a massive, walking contradiction. I think most of us are! We don’t have to fit in a box, it’s okay to be lots of conflicting things.

I can be courageous, yet fearful.
I can be strong, yet vulnerable.
I can be super sociable, yet love my alone time.
I can love myself when I’m feeling happy and playful, but also when I feel sad and frustrated.

To love yourself you need to explore the parts of you that you have been unwilling to accept, and decide to love those parts of you too. Doing this will ease self judgment and being hypercritical of yourself which chips away at your self esteem.

Repeat after me:

I LOVE AND ACCEPT EVERY PART OF ME.

I CHOOSE TO STOP APOLOGISING FOR BEING ME.

I LOVE MY BODY AND ALL IT DOES FOR ME.

I AM WORTHY OF LOVE AND GOOD THINGS.

I DESERVE LOVE, KINDNESS & RESPECT FROM OTHERS BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY MYSELF.

I FORGIVE MYSELF.

What part of yourself have you been unwilling to acknowledge or accept?

Take your power back when it comes to dating. Let these remind you that you are also the chooser, not the one waiting to be chosen.

In this situations, the dynamic is imbalanced from the outset because you’re putting your fate into someone else’s hands and giving over your power.

You assume that if they choose you that it’s something YOU actually want to be in, and on the flipside you assume that if you’re not chosen that it must definitely have been a relationship you should have had.

The goal is to move from the passive passenger when dating, to the conscious driver.

Remind yourself of your unique value and worth. If someone doesn’t see that, it’s not a reflection on you, they’re just not your person and that’s okay. We can’t be for everybody šŸ¤
