🗓️ Simon joined the Bridge in 2018. Since then he has gone on to score just shy of 2000 runs, with a high score of 105* this season away at Denby. Add to that a useful 90 wickets to his name, a great part time bowler. Simon is one of our superb junior coaches taking many additional coaching courses above and beyond the normal required for ECB qualifications. Our junior manager, the bloke who gets to go to the meetings and collect the balls ;-)
Simons maiden century came in his second season for the club as he took us to victory over Cross Arrows on their Yorkshire tour. Simon has taken many honours in the years at the club.

🗓️ Isaac joined the Bridge from Meltham in 2023. Since arriving he has risen through the under 15s, under 17s and into the second XI. Making over 60 appearances on his way. Isaac joined very much as a bowler, but has improved his batting immensely and was rewarded only 2 weeks ago with his maiden open age 50 against Thurstonland. In those 4 seasons he’s taken nearly 80 wickets with his best coming in 2025, 4/18 against Birkby Rose Hill. Topping 30 wickets in that same season, winning him the second XI bowling prize.

🗓️ Chris has played for Holmbridge since 2021. A teacher by day and middle order bat by night (well at the weekends anyway😁). With a personal high score of 62, scored this season against Clayton West. Which also included a stand of over 120 with Joe Alsop. 🗓️ Zak, son of Holmbridge legend Daz, is in his second spell at Holmbridge. Having spent his youth playing at Honley, Zak followed his dad up the valley in the covid hit season of 2020 and then did one more before his return back down the road. 2024 Zak was back at the bridge which saw him score his maiden century (105) for Holmbridge against Lascelles Hall. Zak is also a pretty decent golf hack, claiming last years inaugural Holmbridge CC Golf Day trophy with Pecky, Thrip & Furzy.
