✨ Whilst some of our Competition Team were performing at AED South Finals, we also had two KBDA students competing at the 🩰✨

It was lovely to see them take to the stage and put all of their hard work into their performances. Festivals are such a great opportunity to gain experience, develop as performers and enjoy sharing their work with an audience 🤍

What a week it has been for KBDA 🥰👏

Whilst I was away adjudicating the AED Regional Midland Finals, I was fortunate to receive regular updates from the team, and there was certainly plenty to celebrate 🎉

To all of our students who performed over the half-term break, well done. Whether you were competing for the first time or returning to the stage, we were proud to see the commitment, preparation and teamwork that went into every performance 🤍

Congratulations to those who have qualified for the National Finals in July. We look forward to supporting you as you continue your journey 👏

For those whose competition season finishes here, please remember that competitions are only one part of a much bigger picture. The skills, resilience, friendships and experiences gained along the way are just as important, and we are proud of every student who represented KBDA this week 🌟🤗

Thank you also to our parents for the time, encouragement and support you give throughout the year, and to our teaching team for all the work that happens behind the scenes. Achievements like these are always a collective effort 🫶

It has been a busy half-term week, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone back in class from today 🩰

🏆 1st Runner Up & Through to National Finals - ‘When The Pond Froze Over’ 🏆

A huge congratulations to our Junior Narrative/Character Group for achieving 1st Runner Up with When The Pond Froze Over and securing their place at the National Finals ✨

This piece holds a special place in our hearts, and our dancers told the story beautifully on stage. The care, teamwork and dedication that has gone into this routine helped create a performance they can all be proud of 🥰

We are delighted to see all of their hard work rewarded with such a fantastic result and can’t wait to see them perform it again at Nationals 🤍

This is a fantastic achievement and a real reflection of the hard work, commitment and determination she brings to every rehearsal 👏

The girls have put so much work into this piece, and it’s been lovely to see their confidence, connection and sense of performance 🥰

We’re incredibly proud of everything they’ve achieved and can’t wait to cheer them on in the Finals 🤍

A massive well done to Isla, Sophia, and Lily for placing 1st in the Junior Classical Greek Trio and qualifying for the National Finals ✨

The girls danced beautifully together, and their teamwork, dedication, and expression on stage were a credit to them. Their hard work in the studio really showed, making this a thoroughly well-deserved result 🥰
