🌟 Ageless & Agile Special One-Off Session in Sutton-on-Sea - just over one week to go! 🌟

As part of our International Day of Older People celebrations, we're bringing Ageless & Agile to The Colonnade Centre, Sutton-on-Sea for a special one-off session! 💚

📅 Monday 28th September 2026
⏰ 10am–12pm
📍 The Horizon Room, The Colonnade, York Road, Sutton-on-Sea, LN12 2EU
🅿️ Free parking available opposite the Colonnade

Our friendly, relaxed session is open to all ages, but is particularly aimed at older residents.

Come along for a cuppa, a chat and plenty of fun activities, including:

☕ A warm welcome, tea and conversation
📸 Nostalgic photos and memories
🧘 Gentle seated movement and exercise
🧠 A nostalgic quiz to get those memories flowing
🎳 A game of indoor bowls/Boccia, time permitting
💚 Information and signposting to useful local services

This year’s theme is “On Your Doorstep”, so we'll also be sharing useful information about local services such as grocery deliveries, milk and newspaper deliveries, medication services and hot food.

There’s no pressure to join in with anything – we always check with each person before any physical activity, and the session is designed to be relaxed, friendly and accessible.

This special session will also provide an opportunity to find out more about the regular weekly Ageless & Agile group in Mablethorpe, which we hope people from Sutton-on-Sea and surrounding areas might enjoy joining.

With National Fitness day officially done for this year. Here are our results for yesterday’s super efforts. All throughout the day everyone was swimming lots and working hard and collectively we have done amazing.

But in the words of Queen; Don’t stop me now. Keep moving and keep going as you’ll reap the rewards it has to offer both mentally and physically.

A massive thank you to everyone who dived in, made a splash, and celebrated with us in the water today.

This year’s theme was Powered by You, and your incredible energy in the pool proved exactly how powerful swimming is for both our physical and mental health. Whether you smashed a personal best in the fast lane, joined a high-energy aqua aerobics class, or simply enjoyed a peaceful evening swim—every single length counted.

The day might be officially wrapping up, but the fitness journey does not stop at the deep end. Let’s keep this aquatic momentum going all year round! 🌊🚀

A massive shoutout to everyone who showed up and gave it their all during Lewis and Will's 1-Hour Aquacise Special! You brought the energy, made a serious splash, and crushed your fitness goals today.

Thank you, Lewis and Will, for leading such a fantastic session! 🙌💪Now that the adults have wrapped up their workout, it is time for the next generation to take over the pool.

Today, we are giving a massive shoutout to two of our familiar faces, Michael and Eileen, for their incredible dedication to staying active in the pool.

Whether it is crushing early morning laps, inspiring others with their consistency, or bringing an extra splash of joy to every workout, these two truly embody what National Fitness Day is all about. Swimming keeps us strong, healthy, and energized, and Michael and Eileen show us how it's done every single week.
