The 2026 Lincolnshire Wolds Summer League has officially come to a close, and what a summer of hockey it has been! The ongoing drought, temperatures above 30°C, and some other sporting event called the FIFA World Cup; nothing could deter you from turning up week-in-week-out and playing with such enthusiasm, passion and good spirit 💪🏼
A huge thank you to every single person who stepped out onto the pitch this summer - whether that was to play, umpire, or just show your support. Your effort, energy, and sportsmanship have made this year's summer league a complete success 👏🏼
And of course, congratulations to the incredible Hotshots - not only winning the league but doing it with eight wins from eight 🔥
Thank you again to everyone involved. Good luck with the upcoming season with YNE Hockey League; we can't wait to see you all again next summer 💛
