About Sea Lions Swim School
Sealions Swim School was established in 2022 by two dedicated lifeguards/swim teachers which has gone from strength to strength. We now have 8 dedicated swim teachers working at Skirlington Coast, which is now our dedicated base.
Specialising in personalised 1-1, 2-1 and small class teaching, our mission revolves around instilling confidence in children through in-water learning. We firmly believe that children thrive when empowered to explore new skills without the fear of navigating the water alone.
Our commitment to this philosophy has delivered exceptional results, earning us heartfelt feedback and glowing reviews. The remarkable success of our swim school has propelled us to offer swim lessons three evenings (4pm - 7pm) a week at Skirlington.
What sets us apart is the unwavering support our experienced teachers provide throughout a child’s journey, starting as early as age 3 and guiding them to become proficient swimmers. All our instructors are trained by the Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA), ensuring they possess the skills to bring out the best in our students. We take immense pride in helping children unlock their full potential.

As all of you that know us know, we always try to look after our customers, and after speaking with the Management team at Skirlington Coast, they are now offering 20% discount (yes, you read it right, a massive 20% discount) on food and drink in the Wonky Donkey on swim lesson nights I e. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 5-8pm during term time. If you havent done already, check out the new clubhouse, it’s absolutely amazing and now with 20% off food and drink… really, it would be rude not to. The Sealions Privilege Card must be shown when ordering food and drink. If you are a new customer please ask Marie for a card when you arrive for your next swim lesson.
Oh and I nearly forgot, kids can use the park near the Wonkey Donkey while you adults chill with a drink, it really is a lovely spot for the kids to play.
