Cawston League Presidents Day at Horsford Bowls Club.

A cheque for £ 2020.00 for the money raised was presented to East Anglia Children's Hospices!

A great day and the weather was really kind to us.
Thanks to all the players who took part.
A thank you to all the people who helped on the day and to all who made cakes and sandwiches etc.

Great Summer BBQ

This weeks saw the clubs short mat season come to a close.
Thursday evening saw the finals of the HBC short mat competitions played.
The triples finalists were Ray Ayers, Barbara Ayers & Wayne Burrage against Mick Dale, Chris Warnes & Brian West.
Ray, Barbara & Wayne coming out on top after what was a well fought close match.
The pairs final was contested for by Ray & Barbara Ayers playing Chris Walsgrove & Steve Beckett. Ray & Barbara won yet another close match. An even closer match saw Sally Bates & Ray Ayers play for the clubs singles title, with one end to go there was only one point in it, overall honours eventually going to Ray Ayers.
Well done to all.
