Remember our summer challenge last year - To swim the Thames?
Coach Louise is taking on a 1.5km stretch of the Thames this evening. Let's wish her good luck!

Our summer challenge this year is well underway, to collectively swim the distance between Brighton and Bournemouth, pier to pier.

Remember there's no Sunbeam Swimming on Sat 27th June. But there will be some fantastic racing if you want to pop down and watch and cheer for our friends at Atlantis Swimming Club Horsham

☀️💦 1 day until Summer Splash! 💦☀️

It is going to be hot! Please can everyone attending this weekend's Atlantis Summer Splash – swimmers, volunteers, officials and spectators – remember to stay hydrated throughout the day.

Parents and carers, please make sure your swimmers come with plenty to drink. Poolside can get very warm, and it is important that swimmers keep sipping water throughout the day.

🥤 Bring a refillable water bottle and keep topping it up.
💧 Drink little and often, even if you don't feel thirsty.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! 💙💛

Well done Team Sunbeam! Over 40 swimmers took part including our friends from Leatherhead Swans. Lots of fun, cheering and celebrating. Congratulations!
And huge thanks to our volunteers who made it happen.

Huge congratulations to Thomas who took part in the Sussex Parallel Youth Games at K2 Crawley leisure centre on 20th May.

14 schools from around Sussex took part in the day and Thomas swam for Woodlands Meed, bringing home 3 Bronze medals.

Well done Thomas - Team Sunbeam is very proud of you!

If you left your bottle at the pool today, we've put it in the crate for safe keeping.
