Dalton Dynamoes Under 12s

The weekend just gone we were away at Kirkheaton.
Scrappy game with some great football involved!

We started slow trailing behind on the score board but the kids did their thing and it wasn’t long before we were back in the game!

Kirkheaton kept fighting back 👀 but alas, the Dynamoes took the day with an incredible 5-4 win 🏆

It was impossible to pick a MoTM as the players were all tremendous and involved playing their parts impeccably- the ref for Kirkheaton spoke to new player Migle after the game and complimented her on her performance and so the honour from last week goes to her!
Migle is fast, she applies pressure and fierce.
Tracking back, and is able to be in 2 places at once!

Well done young lady, be proud of yourself and keep up the good work!

This weekend we played Gildersome at their place in Morley.
It was windy and although we had hoped storm Amy would allow us a lie in - alas, another early one for us THANKS FOR NOWT AMY.

Our guys played their socks off and were able to take the 4-2 win.
Each player on the team truly earned this win but our stand out player was young Coby.

He was EVERYWHERE and effective in every position, he changed the dynamic of the game, the speed and ferocity.

A special mention to Josh! He bagged his first goal, this meant the world to all of us as a team. Josh has been shooting and shooting and creating the chances to no avail so this was well over due for him and we couldn’t be prouder!

A massive well done to all of our players and we hope you are all incredibly proud of yourselves

A crazy fixture this morning against Bradford Park.
They for sure have been placed in the wrong league and we look forward to seeing them storm the higher league they will inevitably be placed in!
Smashed us as expected 10-3 BUT!

Our kids held their own against a stronger more physical side and despite the score line that was a cracking game of football!

We held it together, chins didn't dip and they played from start to finish with passion and commitment to each other.

Shout out Fin for his 2 goals! Wrong net mind but we have been willing him to get these goals for a really long time, we just need to be more specific with our wishes next time 😉🤣
Coby will be relieved he has now been joined in the own goal hall of fame 💙

Every single kid put a shift in and anyone of them could have won the honour of MoTM - great going kids and we keel learning and moving forward 👏

Special mention to Rome who had his debut with the U12s and what a game to start with. Cool, calm and composed- he fit straight in with the team and played as though he'd been with us from the begining - looking forward to seeing you develop further over the coming season!

Special mention to Jacob who worked over time in the first half leading by example and showing extreme courage and bravery - you were on fire young man!
Your team mates quickly followed suit and its leadership like this which makes a world of difference on match days.

MoTM chosen by the opposition was Emillie - its difficult being a goal keeper, especially against a team like this.
Emillie kept the score line as low as she could and worked extremely hard - joining her team mates with minor injuries she overcame and persevered- well done lass, be proud of yourself because we are all proud of you!

Social Media is officially back!
It's been a wild couple of weeks and a recap of that time is as follows!

- Presentation day well done to our award winners and parents who took part in the days festivities... we won't mention Ryan Donaghey taking our new signing out in the 'fun' dad's V lads game 🤫

- Friendly against Lepton, they best us! There's got to be a first time for everything 😉

- We raised a couple hundred and a bit more for the upcoming season by completing a sponsored walk from our home ground to Castle Hill and back - highlight of the day was the kids chanting that they wanted a taxi back half way to the destination 🤣
Thank you to everyone who sponsored the kids and took part with the walking it was truly a great day!

- First league game of the season against Leeds Super Eagles , cracking bit of football from all of the kids but Dalton came out on top with a win 🏆

We're back with our Summer FUNdraiser!

Father's Day is about the role models as well.
Strong male figures that sometimes lack in our communities and homes.

Blessed beyond belief to have 2 of the strongest on our team, night or day, rain or shine these 2 are here for our kids whatever they need.

Teaching them weekly about discipline, respect, humility and strength in unity - helping to raise the young men and women of the future one grassroots week at a time.
