Last night we hosted our first end of season club social and presentation evening in well over 20 years.

With trophies up for grabs for our club competition and league teams plus a few other achievements, there was plenty to celebrate.

Everybody had a fantastic time and it will definitely be the first date in our events diary next year! Maybe the quiz might be a little easier 🤣

We had a very productive morning cutting back the overgrowth and tidying the courts. Thanks to everyone who volunteered their time. The bacon butties were earned!

Yesterday, we hosted our first members' social tournament of the year in stunning weather. Our theme was French-inspired with Roland Garros around the corner.

It was also lovely to see the courts full of young players taking advantage of free coaching sessions during our Open Day!

Congratulations to our Men’s B team who were crowned Champions of Division 4 at the Huddersfield and District Tennis League presentation night.

With only one defeat all season, they romped home 4pts clear of second place and are looking forward to life in Division 3 next year!

Another great afternoon of tennis as we gathered for our August tournament. The weather was kind yet again! Congratulations to Elaine, who was our overall winner with Kumiko and Darren coming joint second. Bev and Lucas got the consolation prizes! Thanks to Imogen, Bev and Lesley for the amazing tea!

Last week, we hosted a fantastic We Do Tennis Summer Camp for our young aspiring players!
