Zohair attended our first ever BJJ beginners course 18 months ago, that had 35 people in. Out of everyone who stuck at training, Zohair is the first to achieve his blue belt from the group.

A fully earned and deserves promotion.

Big promotion for Sebastian last week - Grey and White belt.

Seb has made rapid progress in the training room recently and managed to convert that into some high level competition performances.

He's also recently been invited to particiapte in our teenager class despite only being in year 4 at school 🙈🙈

On top of all this, Seb suffers from a rare condition which shouldn't allow him to be able to take part in anything that requires physical contact. Fortunately, Seb has broken down any barriers in front of him and found a home at Gorilla Grappling Academy.

Furthermore, he comes from a BJJ family with his dad and younger brother also training with us... just need to get his mum on the mat now 👀

We've had some major level ups in our 6am classes over the last few months (apologies, i forgot to post some of these promotions).

Tomas, Jimmy G, Marc and Henry all received their blue belts recently.

These guys who come down at 6am are some of the toughest and most skilled people I have come across.

I firmly believe we have one of the best and highest standard 6am classes about.

Top guys who very rarely miss a session.
