Another level up in the jungle for this young warrior. Mia received her well deserved grey and white belt last week. Mia is willing to challenge herself at all times and is happy to spar with bigger and more experienced students.
Her tenacity and fighting spirit is relentless. She combines her BJJ training with gymnastics, which she is alai at a very high level.

After 3 years of training with ys, Freya has been promoted to grey and white belt.

Freya is an absolute monster on the mat with relentless guard passing and a brutal top game.

She has quickly become one of our elite students in the Mini Gorilla's programme and challenges all the grey belts at the club.

Very happy to give this one tonight and as always, can't wait to see how Freya progresses in the future 💪🏽💪🏽💯💯🔥🔥

We took a squad of 2x kids 1x teenager and 4 adults to yesterday.

The team had a brilliant day with everyone student getting a medal plus golds for young Max and Sonny.

Some extremely good and much improved performances from everyone yesterday.

Exciting times for our competitors, the guys laid some strong foundations yesterday. Its going to be a big year of competition 💪🏽💪🏽

Last Monday I handed out the clubs first ever brown belt under the guidance of my head coach

The recipient was and there couldn't be a more deserving person to receive it.

Ian is already a judo black belt and has a wealth of experience in other traditional martial arts.

He brings a wealth of experience to the club and is an extremely important member of the squad.

This is a long overdue promotion, which makes it even sweeter.

I also gave a blue belt to who has made some amazing progress over the last 6 months.

The combination of size, strength and technique makes him a formidable force on the mat. I expect big things from Mark over the next couple of years 🔥🦍

We had down at the club last night dropping some wrestle-up knowledge bombs.

Its always a pleasure having Liam down at the club, he's supported and backed the clubs vision before the club was established and continues to give his time and effort for free to make sure the club continues to grow.

A big thank you to all our students that made the effort to attend last night. It means a lot to me personally that Liams seminars are well supported, without him there would be no club.

Proud coach moment today at Grappling.

The squad showed up with a level of focus that was on a different level today. We're still a young club, but I can feel the confidence and level of expectation grow each time we compete.

The Results were followed, 5 competitors:

1x silver
2x bronze
