⚫🔴 A DAY OF MIXED RESULTS — BUT PLENTY TO BUILD ON! 🔴⚫

A great performance from the First Team today as all the hard work finally paid off, securing their first win of the season with a massive 5–1 victory! 💥⚽️ A performance the lads can be proud of and hopefully the start of some momentum going forward.

Unfortunately, the Reserves and Mount A didn’t come away with the results they wanted, but the scorelines certainly don’t tell the full story of how those games were played.

There were plenty of questionable refereeing decisions in the A Team game, but we won’t use that as an excuse. We take it on the chin, learn from it and use it as motivation to come back stronger and better in the next game. 💪

Three teams out representing Mount today, plenty learned, and we keep moving forward together.

This doesn’t happen by accident.

It happens because people have bought into something that has become so much more than 90 minutes of football on a Saturday.

After a heavy 8–1 defeat in their last outing, the lads know that performance wasn’t good enough — and today they’ve got something to prove.

One result doesn’t define a team. What matters now is the response. The lads will learn from it, stick together and come back stronger. 💪🔥

Today sees Mount A back in action for their second game of the season, as the lads travel to face Dalton Athletic FC. ⚽🔥

After coming away with a loss in the opening game, the lads are now eager to put things right and get that first win on the board. 💪

The first result doesn’t define the season — it’s about how you respond. The focus now is on putting in the work for the full 90 minutes and hopefully travelling home with all 3 points! 🔥

Today we go again. 💪⚽

The opening two games haven’t quite gone our way. Despite being the better side for around 80% of both matches, we’ve only got 1 point to show for the performances — but the lads know the results will come if we keep playing our football.

This week the team have been out in force on the training pitch, working hard, preparing properly and making sure we’re ready for tomorrow. No heads dropping. No excuses. Just a group determined to turn good performances into 3 POINTS. 🔥

Our opening game of the season didn’t go our way, but the result didn’t tell the full story.

We were the better side for around 80% of the game, created plenty of opportunities and played some great football — we just couldn’t take our chances when they came.

Today is a new opportunity. 💪

The lads are determined, focused and ready to put things right as we head into our second game of the season, looking to get our first points on the board.
