The B team continued their terrific form this season and have moved first with a victory over Denby B team!

Birkby posted 178 all out. Captain Tahir Iqbal scoring 26, Naveed amin 33 and a fantastic partnership between imad hussain (39) and Sana Rana 23 not out of 15 balls.

Birkby batted first scoring 141 all out. A fantastic partnership of 63 between Rehan khan (32) and Aftab ur rahim (42). Overseas Khalil khan also scoring 38.

Denby started well in their chase reaching 36-0.
But the introduction of left arm off spinner Zain ul Abdin (4-31) turned the game in Birkby’s favour. Khalil khan (3-20) Aftab ur rahim (2-28) also bowled brilliantly.

The win takes Birkby above Denby in to 3rd place on 44 points, 10 points from top.
