The Thundercats Comp team visited the beautiful Cawthorne Cricket Club this weekend, the sun was out early and drying the field out nicely for our 10am start against the Cobras. Thundercats batting first, we were kept low on the run score with some really well taken wickets, finishing our innings on 98/5 (73 net score). So a nervous start to the fielding innings. We stepped up to the plate though and bowled and caught and great-quick-fielding and managed to win by keeping the Cobras to 77/6. Fantastic work Thundercats ๐๐ค๐. Thanks very much to the Cobras for an exciting and enjoyable game, and for your wonderful hospitality after the match ๐ฐ๐ฅ , see you again on Tuesday when the Development teams meet, again at Cawthorne - lets hope the suns out again โ๏ธ๐๐

The Thundercats had 2 matches arranged for the weekend, both against Scholes Shenanigans - Scholes (Holmfirth) Cricket Club Ladies Team but only managed to play the second due to the rain. This was the Competitive team match on Sunday morning, early 9am start ahead of the rain, and it was a close one... Both teams fielded brilliantly not giving away many runs. Thundercats won this time but it could easily have gone either way. Thanks for a great game Scholes Shenanigans ๐คฉ๐๐

Last Wednesday the Thundercats had a home game against the Denby Cricket Club Dragons. It was chilly and windy enough to blow the stumps off between each ball but we had a really fun evening with boundaries flying all over the place (10 x 6's and 8 x 4's from the Thundercats!). The Thundercats won the game with an impressive batting innings of 173/3 against Denby 81/5.

Thanks again to our sponsors Langricks Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers - shirts looking sharp !!!

It was a Double-Header weekend against Holmfirth Cricket Club ladies for the Thundercats. First up the Softball fixture. A VERY strong Holmfirth side had the edge on us with some very strong performances. We battled through it though and still came out smiling. Well done Holmfirth on the win. First outing for our lovely new shirts sponsored by Langricks Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers

A great evening of cricket for the Thundercats Ladies SB Comp team last night at Cumberworth United Cricket Club against the Cobras. The rain tried to spoil our fun but we didn't let it stop play. Thundercats won the game this time with some amazing bowling on show, a few catches and close tight fielding. Big Thank you to the Cobras for being so welcoming, we look forward to meeting and playing you ladies again. ๐คฉ๐๐๐ง๐๐ค๐ฅ
