Our squad shows a variety of players from the 1s & 2s, with Deano leading the lads for his first stint as captain this year.

From 18:00, the bar will be open, with a live DJ & Food available to purchase!

The first team are at home to Thongsbridge. They are after a well desired and needed win in order to get back up the table as soon as possible.

The 2s are on the road to Denby Grange. Jack (c) decides to back his usual 11 with the return of a couple players from their golf trip (huge fine), in hopes to take home 6 points!

This weekends fixtures🚨

After a successful weekend in the cup last week, we are back again with a set of Double Headers! As both sides play in the 2nd round of their respective tournaments.

But firstly, on Saturday, both sides are back in league action.
The 1s host Edgerton & Dalton. After their win at the weekend, they will be looking to add onto their run of form and collect 6 points.
The 2s travel locally to Flockton. A ground that is familiar to a select couple of our 2’s squad. A win here would be vital for the 2nd teams push for top of the table.

Sunday sees the 1st team hosting Linthwaite in the 2nd round of the Oddfellows cup. After last weeks points being shared due to weather, we’re looking forward to this fixture! p.s ~ 12:30pm start‼️
The 2s are on the road again! They travel to Hall Bower in the 2nd round of the Earnshaw Cup; with their sights and hopes being set on another win and surge forward in this competition💥

All support home & away is greatly appreciated as always!

CUP RESULTS🏆

Both teams walk away happy after the first games of this years cup runs!

The 1s hosted Holmbridge. A dominant display in the field was highlighted by a 6fer by overseas Orminder, who limited the visitors to 115.
Said total was knocked off in 13.2 overs. A strong 44 runs by opener Deano set a strong foundation for the top order to tick over the remainder.

The 2s travelled to Denby, with the aim to do the double in 2 days. Pick of the bowlers is a tough one, with Mullers, Mali, Graham, & Boothy all getting 2 wickets🏹
On the batting side, a strong 27 from a returning Mulcahy was shortly followed by the highest score of the day (37) from Spencer. The score was finally ticked over by Mali Bell, who put on a strong partnership with George Haigh at the dying stages💥

Both teams reach the next round of their respective tournaments! Which are expected to be played next Sunday.

What a win for the 2’s🏹

After a slow start due to weather, the twos managed a 45 over first innings.
With Denby putting a respectable 169 on the board, it took a needed red inker from CWCC’s Spencer Moorhouse (59*) to guide the 2s to a well needed win at home.

The first team didn’t manage to face a delivery at Linthwaite, as the umpires deemed it too wet to start. The 1s shared 2 points.

With both teams playing their cup games tomorrow, all support is appreciated at HQ.

Saturdays Matchday XI’s💥

It’s that time again for another league fixture for both teams‼️

The 1s travel to Linthwaite in hopes to get back to winning ways after a tough couple weeks. A win here would give a good bit of momentum for Sundays Cup tie.
The 2s host Denby today, a win here would be a great way to get the snowball running, as they face Denby in the cup TOMORROW!

Here we go again..

After last weeks failed attempt, we return for the first double headers of the 2026 season💥

The first team take on Linthwaite away from home on Saturday. After a tough defeat last weekend they will be raring to get back to winning ways.

On Saturday, the 2nd team host Denby CC. Only to face them Away from home the following day in the Earnshaw Cup!

Sundays home game sees the 1st team host Holmbridge in the Oddfellows Cup in hopes to start their cup run strong!
