The season has come to and end, but we're still busy over the upcoming weeks.

A quick summary of what's on!

Weather hasn’t played ball today. But we make the best of what we have!
• Singer has been moved forward one hour to 7pm!
• Pizza van starting from 5pm.

The 2nds are chasing 149 at Holmfirth, let’s hope they get the win and give us something to celebrate!

Pizza and music tonight, get around our overseas Sahaj who has been preeeeeety handy since coming over, and enjoy the CC in top form.

Reminder about today. Weather should be clearing up, bit of cricket this afternoon rolling into a big send off the 2026 season.

It's not the last game of the season without a proper do. Get down to the CC on Saturday - we have pizza throughout the day, and a singer on in the evening. Can't wait to send the season off in style!

Thanks to who are providing us with pizzas on Saturday, from mid-afternoon till post match. Here's the offerings that they will be bringing along, before we get kick started at 8pm in the club house to see the season out in style.

A reminder that we are having a meeting tonight at the club regarding progress towards an outdoor nets development.

The more numbers we have, the faster we can get things moving towards providing quality facilities for our local cricketers.

Two wins and a loss in the penultimate week of the season.

The 1sts lost the toss and found themselves in some trouble at 45/4, but North and Finn put on an awesome partnership on a bowling friendly wicket to ensure that we had an above par score.

The introduction of Whitwam with the ball changed the game, as he controlled the game over his 15 over spell. Ben Balmforth bowled a beautiful 10 over opening spell, and we were able to close out the game to ensure that we survive in the Prem for next year.

The 2nds never got themselves going after losing the toss, and were comfortably defeated. The spin of Gash and Senior was effective, and there was some contributions down the order to get us into three figures but the promotion hopes were extinguished.

The 3rds went to Sowerby Bridge and after they got themselves to 85/3, Joe Brook induced a collapse with his six over spell. Then the chase was comprehensive, and a successful day for the 3rds.

Best of luck to Amelia Turner, who is playing at the Home of Cricket today, for the second time! Hope the family has a great day and she can get the chocolates this time!

All to play for this weekend, with a Shepley double header on Saturday.

The 1sts are currently six points (one full win) ahead of relegation, with two matches left. They head to HD8 looking to move one step closer to safety.

The 2nds are sitting third, three points outside of the promotion positions. They take on table topping Shepley as well, and need a win to keep realistic hopes of playing Alliance 1 next year alive.

The 3rds are over at Sowerby Bridge, any and all support is welcome as they play their last away match for the year. Best of luck to all the players involved!
