PREGNANCY PILATES // PHYSIO-LED
We were due to start pregnancy pilates this week, however due to low booking numbers (these things happen! Don’t let the internet fool you everything is full all the time!!) we’ve decided to postpone the course for another week to see if we get enough bookings to run it!
The 6 week course is now starting on June 18th and running until July 23rd. Classes are 7:45-8:45pm. The full block is £50, or you can drop in for £11.50.
Birth preparation is all about creating space for baby, in our Pregnancy Pilates classes we work on helping the pelvic inlet open so baby can descend comfortably in an optimal position, as well as working on strategies to help open the pelvic outlet to help aid baby’s transition into the world during labour in a vaginal birth.
Improving general hip mobility during pregnancy is a top priority for us in class and it’s never too early or too late to get started! These strategies are applicable regardless of your planned mode of delivery, as they not only help to mobilise the pelvis they also work on improving connection between the core and the pelvic floor.

The weather doesn’t look to be on our side tomorrow for June’s Park Yoga, so here’s plan B!
Because we can’t fit the number of people booked on into one session, we’ve opened up both the 8:30am Vinyasa Class and the 10am Movement Medicine Class as freebies for this week only.
Those who were already booked on 8:30am class have been rebooked and credits are already back on your account.
Everyone else, take your pick, both classes are now open for booking - but cancel Park Yoga first!
If you’re coming to the studio for the first time please be mindful of parking, and don’t use the Ambulance Centre area at all - access is required at all times.

Tonight marks the last of our first Pregnancy Pilates 6 week block, the next one begins on June 11th at 7:45pm.
Spaces are limited to 12, so don’t wait too long to secure your spot. IF there are any spaces the week before we start, drop ins will open up.
Pregnancy takes us through all sorts of postural adaptations as bump and baby grow!
Suitable for all trimesters, this Physiotherapy led class will take you through a low impact strength and mobility sequence, focusing on mindful movement, core strength, pelvic floor health and birth preparation movements to help you be at your best throughout your pregnancy and beyond.
Class numbers are kept small so exercises can be adapted to your individual needs.

Our first beginners yoga course since we moved 🤗
Do we believe that everyone needs to “do a beginners yoga course” before they join a class? No!
Do we also have a deep understanding that true learning & change is most effective when we feel safe? Yes!
When we start something new it can be daunting, stepping into the unknown can almost be anxiety inducing 😅, so, here we offer a level playing field, where everyone is a beginner.
This four week container led by Josie offers a clear start and finish to the experience, for some it’ll just be the beginning and for others, you’ll know you gave it a fair chance.
With Josie at the helm, you’re going receive a really clear example of what yoga is and what yoga isn’t.
You will explore a range of yoga poses and learn how to adapt them to suit your individual body using props, modifications, and variations, giving you the confidence to continue on to join any of the group classes on the timetable.
Alongside the physical practice, we will explore a range of breathing techniques and touch on key themes from yogic philosophy to support a deeper understanding of yoga both on and off the mat.
Whether you are completely new to yoga or returning after time away, this welcoming course offers a supportive space to explore movement, breath, and mindfulness at your own pace.
