Following our earlier post about the pool closure and cancelled lessons, we have been unable to secure this weekend (1st August) as a catch-up session as we cannot staff it.

⚠️ Important Update ⚠️

The pool is closed today for urgent repairs. These are expected to be completed on Monday.

**All of today’s lessons are cancelled.**

We’re hoping to offer **1st August** as a replacement lesson. Edu have initially said this should be okay, but they’ll confirm on Monday once they’ve spoken to the school.

We’ll email everyone as soon as we have confirmation either way.

Reminder: If you haven’t had chance to read your email, please note that swimming lessons will run as normal tomorrow and Saturday 25th July.

We will then close for our summer break throughout August, with lessons resuming on Tuesday 1st September.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the pool!

☀️ After the 25th July we break up for the summer holidays.

🌊🏊‍♀️ Staff Spotlight & Fundraising Challenge! 🏊‍♀️🌊

We're incredibly proud of our amazing swim teacher Amanda, who is taking on a sponsored sea swim to raise money for The Chestnut Appeal for Men's Health.

The Chestnut Appeal supports men affected by prostate, testicular and pe**le cancers across Devon and Cornwall, helping to fund specialist nurses, vital equipment, treatments and awareness campaigns.

Amanda has been training hard and will soon be braving the open water for this fantastic cause. We know she would appreciate any support from our wonderful swim school community, whether that's a donation or simply sharing her fundraising page.

💦 WATER SAFETY WEEK 💦

Join us on 13th June for our special Water Safety Session as part of Drowning Prevention Week! 🏊‍♂️

Our swimmers will be learning valuable water safety skills to help them stay safe in, on, and around water while having lots of fun along the way.

Please remember to bring:
👕 Pyjamas to swim in
🧺 A towel
🥽 Goggles (if you have them)

Water safety is a skill for life, and we're excited to help our swimmers build confidence and awareness in the water.
